Heritage Village

Heritage Village is home to the Pinellas County Market in the Park. Held every Saturday from 10am to 2pm, this event is free to attend. There are restrooms on-site and parking is available from Pinellas County Extension. Visitors can purchase fresh produce and other items from vendors selling farm-fresh goods. Heritage Village includes the Goodwood Plantation museum, located in the Main House. This house dates back to 1840 and is considered the finest antebellum plantation house in the region. It has original furnishings and Victorian designs from the time of the pioneers. In addition, there are seven restored historical Cracker homes, representing pioneer life in the 1870s to the 1930s. You can also view marine life in the aquarium, a rehabilitation center that has helped thousands of animals return to the wild.

The Holocaust Memorial, located in Heritage Village, Florida, commemorates the victims of the Holocaust and educates visitors on the Holocaust. The museum contains historical items and exhibits, such as artifacts from the Holocaust. Visitors can also enjoy fishing, canoeing, and hiking trails. There are also historical buildings, including those of the earliest Florida government.

Heritage Village is a great destination for families to enjoy a day out in the Florida sunshine. There are several museums and galleries for the whole family to enjoy. The Dudley Family Museum, for instance, features 1,000 artifacts from the Holocaust.
